Our travel arrangements and accommodation booking at Chester's Highway Inn on Acklins Island in the Bahamas could not have been better. Chester's gives a near off grid experience, which was exactly what we were looking for and excellent bone fishing on the doorstep. Arnette and Julias made us feel very welcomed and could not do enough to make our stay memorable.

We are now home safely after 12 nights in Exuma and still talking to friends about the wonderful experience. The flights were on time but the ancient 767 aircraft operated by BA is not to be recommended. On arrival in Georgetown we easily found a taxi and were whisked to our Augusta Bay Hotel arriving in about 10 minutes. The hotel is old fashioned but provides an excellent service with all staff willing to help in any way they can. The breakfast included was very adequate and extra items could be ordered and arrived quickly. The lunch and dinner menus were adequate, although some items were not always available, and it was very noticeable the service declined when the restaurant was full up. For variety we also dined at neighbouring restaurants, Splash, Latitudes and Shirleys. Our King room was very good and convenient for both the pool and the beach but, the occasional vacum clean to remove sand from the floors (rather than a broom) would have been appreciated. Clean towels were provided daily. We hired a car and found trips to both the north and the south points of the island to be very interesting. The main interest is of course boat trips, a day trip to see 'the pigs, grotto, iguanas etc and the visit to Stocking island for the sting rays and of course lunch at 'Chat and Chill'. The variety of fish and the beautiful colours of the water when swimming and snorkelling will remain in our minds for a long time. In conclusion a fantastic, albeit espensive holiday which was enjoyed so much by our young grandchildren. Thank you Kim for making all the arrangements.

We had an enjoyable and rather complicated adventure that was very well organised. A return reservation for a week was already in place at Sandal’s on Exuma and we wanted to see more of the ‘out’ islands so we asked Kim at Bahamas Flavour to recommend a package that included accommodation and transfers to three other islands. From Exuma we were collected by private plane and taken to the Stella Maris resort on Long Island where the welcome was excellent and accommodation very good too for our short stay. Stella Maris airlines then took us to Nassau from where we transferred to Abaco by scheduled flight, then collected by prearranged taxi and taken to the ferry to arrive the very beautiful Green Turtle Island for a few days. Green Turtle resort is located by the busy harbour where many sailing boats call in. Beaches here are fabulous and the standard method of getting round the island is by an essential hired ‘golf’ buggy. The next journey was by a tiny private charter plane to Eleuthera, a great hassle free experience that you could easily get used to(!), then a short taxi ride to the dock and a exciting ride in one of the astonishing high speed water taxis to Harbour Island followed by a short taxi ride to the very well positioned and comfortable Coral Sands resort that overlooks one of the greatest pink sand beaches of the world. This is another small island where a buggy is very useful if you want to explore. On our last day, as our flight back to Nassau and connection to London was late in the evening, we returned to Eleuthera by water taxi and took a taxi to the splendid Cove resort for lunch, where a booking is essential to get passed security, and a fleeting look at how the wealthy spend their time. Our three weeks in the Bahamas was unforgettable, each of the five major islands that we have now visited are quite different in terms of vegetation, history, development and facilities available. All though have great beaches, a fine climate that is a little warmer as you go south and a warm welcome from the local population. There was ample opportunity for the arrangements to go wrong somewhere….but all went very smoothly with no surprises, so very well done Bahama Flavour!

A huge thank you for your help in arranging our Bahamian holiday. This was our second trip to The Bahamas having visited New Providence five years ago. A day trip in 2009 to one of the Exuma Cays was the catalyst to knowing we wanted to explore more of the Out Islands and your knowledge and expertise was invaluable in making sure we found what we hoped to experience. Harbour Island is gorgeous - from the perfect pink sands to downtown Dunmore Town with its golf buggies as transport, it's amazing and so friendly - just watch out for the chickens! Eleuthera is also beautiful, very different to New Providence and Harbour Island with its secluded beaches and a very long road! Hope Town with its brightly painted houses is a perfect kaleidoscope of colour. Again so different but stunning in its own right. You can lose days watching the boats in the marina not to mention the sunrises and sunsets. We've still got a few islands yet to explore and my husband is now considering a cycling tour to include them all! Thanks again.

Hello Kim, Mum and I had a lovely holiday in Exuma - Augusta Bay was the perfect base for us. Comfortable, small and not too busy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did a half day boat trip with 4Cs excursion which was good fun and just long enough for Mum. Another day we hired a car and drove down to Little Exuma visiting the church at Williamstown, having lunch at Santanas and stopping for a very lovely view and relaxing drink at Turquoise Cay - definitely a jewel of a boutique hotel you should consider adding to your list. On the Friday we took the water taxi over to Stocking Island - we weren't really prepared for just how little there is over there and had been expecting a little street with a few cafes etc, so being dropped on the sand amongst a lot of boats was a bit of a surprise! Fortunately we had books with us and also quickly found the Chat n Chill just round the corner so had some shade and something to drink until the taxi came back 4 hours later. We also got to see Sting rays there very close up which was exciting. All in all it was a very successful trip and thank you to you for organising it for us.

Hi Kim, just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks for the advice and booking. We had a wonderful time in the Bahamas, people were really friendly and helpful. The islands were beautiful and the water colours amazing! Both hotels were exactly as described. A Stone's Throw Away in Nassau was a lovely quiet setting, we made new friends who we are still in touch with. Stella Maris Resort staff made us feel part of the family, so refreshing in this day and age of mass tourism. All in all a great time!

We booked our much needed holiday through Kim at Bahamas Flavour. She was unbelievably efficient and organised our complex travel needs (including air, sea and taxi transfers) in the space of an afternoon. Kim really thought ahead and planned for every eventuality. She booked us at the ideal resort for us. We loved Green Turtle Cay. In short, Bahamas Flavour would be our first phone call when we next travel to that part of the world.

From the outset, Kim was very helpful in assisting me choose the right package suited to our needs. As it was our honeymoon and first ever visit to the Bahamas, we opted to stay at the Atlantis Resort. One word sums up our experience perfectly: Majestic. From day one, the moment we landed and arrived at our resort, till our departure two weeks later, we had the time of our lives.I would strongly urge anyone who has ever thought about visiting the Bahamas to give this site a thorough look. I for one will be using it again for my next visit back.

First trip to The Bahamas and all went very well. I wanted a package with flights, accommodation and diving and Kim at Bahamas Flavour was able to offer all of that and more through British Airways, Superclub Breezes and Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas. I had a truly tremendous time and this was in no small part due to Kim sorting out extras at a great bargain for connecting flights from Manchester thereby taking away my need to get to Heathrow. She also got me a great deal on a single supplement in the hotel and a free upgrade to extra diving. A bargain overall Indeed. I will return to The Bahamas as there is still so much to see and more great diving to be had and I will definitely call Bahamas Flavour first to help me plan and organise it.

I Just wanted to say a very big thank you for organising our fantastic trip to the Bahamas. From the moment we arrived at the Royal Bahamian Sandals resort we were made to feel like royalty. We were welcomed to the hotel with a cool glass of champagne before being shown to our wonderful room in the Balmoral Tower with a balcony looking out to the azure sea of the Atlantic. We dined in almost all of the restaurants. Our favourite was Kimonos where our chefs Choi and Tiny made delicious tepanyaki while telling jokes and serenading us with unique versions of popular love songs. We also enjoyed dining in the French restaurant Baccarat,  where we enjoyed a starter of escargot and then after struggling to choose between a main course of steamed sea bass and crab claws, our waiter kindly offered to bring us a portion of each to try. The entertainment was the best we have experienced in any hotel. Throughout the day there were always activities to take part in, including cookery lessons, wine tasting, quizzes, and afternoon tea. Alternatively if all you wanted to do was relax and read a book there was plenty of quiet places around the pool, hotel and extensive gardens where you could get away. In the evenings we saw a number of great shows including a very funny comedian who involved us in the show! We also saw some fantastic singers, acrobats and dancers. On the night we had planned to go to a beach party the weather was bad so rather than cancel the event, the staff held the party inside and decorated the room with flags and garlands. After a fantastic Caribbean buffet while listening to a steel band, we were invited on stage to do Caribbean dancing and the evening ended with fire dancers and an amazing marching band of thirty musicians. We enjoyed the snorkeling trips that ran several times a day and also travelled the short journey to Sandal's own private island, which is definitely not to be missed. What really made the trip for us was the warmth and attitude of the Bahamian people. Everyone from the maintenance team and the army of gardeners to waiters and managers would stop to say hello and to enquire how our holiday was going. We caught a public bus in order to explore Nassau and again everyone was extremely friendly. We definitely plan to visit the Bahamas again in order to visit more of its many islands and would also thoroughly recommend Sandals and Bahamas Flavour to everyone.
