Boasting 700 beautiful islands, pristine white beaches, year-round sunny temperatures, boutique-style hotels, and lots to see and do, The Bahamas continues to be an attractive haven for couples wishing to tie the knot.
Whether it is a garden wedding, beach wedding, church wedding or dolphin wedding, you can rest assured your “big day” will be a memorable one.
You can choose from a selection of wedding packages from the very simple to the more elaborate, and local wedding co-ordinators will tend to and organize ALL the details related to your wedding ceremony (and related functions if desired).
You can get married in The Bahamas with just 48 hours residency. The following is a summary of the required documents:

- a single status affidavit, which proves you are single and free to marry, or a certified copy of the decree absolute;
- couples must be over the age of 18, or must otherwise have the consent of the legal guardian;
- a photographic proof of identification (a passport will suffice).
